Instructions

Magical method

  1. Break or cut up your dark chocolate. Add to a large bowl.
  2. Grab a saucepan and pour in the coconut milk, vanilla extract, salt, cinnamon and maple syrup. Heat up until everything is mixed and infused. Takes about 5 minutes on medium-low heat. But do not boil this mixture.
  3. Pour the hot coconut milk over the dark chocolate. Don’t stir. Put a plate on top of the bowl and let that sit for 6-7 minutes.
  4. Remove the plate after waiting time and whisk until glossy and smooth. Zest in the lime zest and dice in the dried mango. Mix until combined.
  5. Let the ganache mixture in the fridge to set up for at least 4 hours. After setting time you can roll little cigars from this chocolate truffle mixture. Coat them in cacao powder. And make little lines with a knife to bring the cigar aesthetic to life.  And if you have a little mixture leftover, you can make small truffles.
  6. Dip one of the ends in loose leaf tea, so it looks like a burning end. Lay them in a cool box and serve straight away.

Kitchen Witch Tip: If you make desserts often, use a piping bag for the ganache mixture, to pipe cigar shapes. Put a nozzle in the bag. Add the chocolate mixture when cooled down but still runny. Pipe the cigars onto a lined baking sheet and let them set in the fridge.
