IT IS TIME WITCHES AND WIZARDS! I finally made a butterbeer inspired recipe. So I tought why not make a breakfast out of it! I really wanted to make a foam. So I took some plantbased (I used soy milk) milk to recreate the foam , added ginger spices in the mix. Golden berries. A golden snitch also added into the bowl. Crispy muesli with melted dark chocolate. My favourite breakfast so far! Let me show you how to make it!
For 1 muggle:
- 2 frozen bananas
- pinch of gingerbread spices and cardamom
- 1 tsp of rum extract
- 0,5 tsp vanilla extract
- 50 grams dark chocolate
- 2 tbsp crispy muesli
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- pinch of salt
- golden berries + hazelnuts for garnish
- 1 cup of barista soy milk
Tip: The golden snitch is a Fererro Rocher (this product is not vegan but I hope they make it soon! I did only use this for photography/ foodstyling. AND OF COURSE I DID NOT EAT IT!
Method:
Freeze your bananas the night before you want to eat this bowl for breakfast. Cut in bite size pieces so it is easier for your blender to make it super creamy. Add the maple syrup, spices, salt and both of the extracts to your blender and blend until smooth. Meanwhile heat up the barista milk in a little pan and whip it frothy until you get foam. And melt the dark chocolate into a little pan or in a microwave until melted. Garnish your beautiful bowl with all the toppings.
ENJOY THE MAGIC!
